The Art of
Ryan Barnes

Skagit Valley College holds an annual Student Art Exhibition in which any student who had taken an art class at SVC from the previous year is allowed to submit completed class assignments to the juried exhibition and competition. Inspired by his first exhibition experience, Ryan Barnes submitted three of his works for consideration. Happy to see his work on display once again, this experience had left Ryan feeling fulfilled and excited to continue on this path in visual arts.

As the show went on and the jury came to a consensus, Ryan's work Flowers in a Coke Glass was awared first place winning him the competition.
